The philosopher Thomas Hobbes argued that the less superstition there was, the more obedient individuals would be. Thus, a fully deployed science should meet with no social opposition. But these years of pandemic have shown that solutions endorsed by the scientific community often meet with resistance, sometimes visceral, sometimes argued.
In the health field as in others, it has become clear that there is a problematic relationship between science, technology and freedom. How can these three elements be brought together? Simona Levi and Josep Perelló, in a conversation led by Sira Abenoza, will address this challenge of the present and the immediate future.
