The Biennial of Thought is a project promoted by Barcelona City Council through the Barcelona Institute of Culture.
The programme of this new edition of the Biennial of Thought has been put together with the collaboration of professionals from different fields. Once again, the participation of the Centre for Contemporary Culture de Barcelona has contributed to nurture these six days of dialogue and shared reflection.

PhD in Sociology, specialist in Digital Social Innovation. She is Head of Innovation in the Digital Technology Societies area of the i2cat Foundation and researcher at the Institute for Social Innovation (ESADE). She combines research, teaching and dissemination.
Architect from Barcelona and director of the Josep Ferrando Architecture studio, he combines practice with academia and cultural management: he is director of the La Salle Barcelona School of Architecture and the Open Architecture Centre of Barcelona.
Writer and Hellenist. He has written essays, novels and translations. He received his PhD in 2013 with a thesis on the reception of Greek tragedy in Germany and Catalonia. He currently chairs La Casa dels Clàssics, a project that promotes the creation, thought and dissemination of universal classics.
Architect, communicator and musician. She is dedicated to the dissemination of architectural culture and research on architecture, design and urban planning with a social and environmental perspective. She presents the documentary series "Escala Humana" on TVE and collaborates in "Puntos de vista" on TVE Catalunya.
Journalist. She works in the creation of narratives and dissemination of content about technology and its effect on our lives. She directs communication for decidim.org, the free and open source platform for democratic participation. He has worked at Sónar+D, Xnet, among others.
Professor of Political Science at the Carlos III University of Madrid. He is the author of numerous books, academics and essays. Among the latter, the most recent is El desorden político. Democracias sin intermediación (Catarata, 2022). He is a regular contributor to media such as El País, La Vanguardia and Ctxt.
Multidisciplinary cultural centre dedicated to exploring the major issues of contemporary society through different languages and formats, thanks to an extensive programme that includes wide-ranging thematic exhibitions, lecture series and literary meetings, as well as audiovisual screenings and festivals.
With the aim of forging alliances with institutions and initiatives that promote critical thinking through their daily activities, the Biennial includes in its programme a section called +Biennial. It is made up of the programme prepared during these dates by the entities that have wished to join in:
