She is a champion for internet accessibility, open data, open government and the open web, bringing together local and international stakeholders to advance the digital cooperation agenda.
Recognized as one of the world's 100 most influential people in digital government and one of Africa's 50 digital personalities, she is also considered one of Africa's 100 most influential women in 2021.
Her ability to network and build bridges between the local and global has made her a spokesperson for women, rural populations, people without access and civil society around the world.
She is an ICT for development strategist, an expert in e-participation and citizen engagement, one of the early pioneers of the data revolution in Africa. A respected voice at the UN Internet Governance Forum, a pioneer and ongoing advisor on Internet governance in Africa and Faculty at the Schools of Internet Governance.
