In recent times, and particularly after the invasions of Ukraine and Gaza, the link between space and violence has come to the foreground as a crucial topic of both scholarly debate and political action. How populations, territories, and rights are conceptualised and realised through action has a deep impact on the lives of millions, with the added debate on which lives and struggles are shared and discussed.
Jasbir Puar is one of the most relevant voices to study these issues in the last years, particularly in relation to geopolitics, gender and sexuality, settler colonialism and imperialism, and capacity and disability. In this conversation with Ignacio E. Domínguez, we will have the chance to delve into these topics that shape the present, as well as discuss some of the key findings and arguments of her work, drawing from her research and publications.
