Dancer and Choreographer Inés Sybille Vooduness focuses her work on the spiritual and existential narratives submerged beneath a land of high mountains:  Haiti. Is it possible to reterritorialize Haitian Vodou from the inheriting diaspora? Based on steps from Angolan Kuduro, the dancer reaches a state in which she is able to establish communication with Simbi, a family of spirits that guard springs and water.   Crick? Crack? An aquatic story unfolds in which Erzulie embarks upon the ocean. The water rises and takes the form of an ancestral snake and post-memory exercises. Can these gestures allow access to secrets and the revolutionary temperature, the invisible? Simbi and their different personifications in the mineral, plant, and aquatic kingdoms propel a future that exists outside time and falls within the contours of a collective act based on non-colonial dreams.
