Otra luz cegadora (Another blinding light) is an exhibition project that proposes an approach to science fiction from the narrative of a luminous object and the influence it exerts on a space. The evolution of light, the temporal quality and the expectation of the event converge in a cyclical event.
On 15 September 2011 the extrasolar planet Kepler-16b, a binary system of suns, was discovered orbiting two stars at the same time. Another blinding light takes this discovery as a starting point to construct a fiction: a pseudo celestial body that does not exist will be introduced into our solar system and, on its trajectory, the point of maximum luminosity will be observed from the exhibition space.
The project is led by Diego Paonessa, originally from Buenos Aires, Argentina. With this activity, you will be able to live a different experience and enjoy an imaginary journey through space.
The exhibition will begin on 11 October 2022 and will end on 8 January 2023 in the La Capella space.
