David Uclés (Úbeda, 1990) is a writer, musician, and illustrator. He has published various novels: La Península de las Casas Vacías (Siruela/2024), Emilio y Octubre (Dos Bigotes/2020), and El Llanto del León (Complutense Literature Prize)/2019). He was recently awarded the Leonardo and Montserrat Roig scholarships.

As for his linguistic education, he has a B.A. and a Master in Translation and Interpretation from the universities of Cordoba, Granada, and Münster. He has worked in Germany, Switzerland, and France as a Spanish, German, and French teacher.
