Aina Tarabini is a Full Professor of Sociology of Education at the Autonomous University of Barcelona and deputy director at GEPS research centre (Globalisation, Education and Social Policies). Her research is concerned with the (re)production and transformation of social inequalities in the daily running of education systems. From the lens of social justice, she is particularly interested in the sociological analysis of teaching and learning processes; methods for imparting pedagogy and curricula; and the students’ educational trajectories, experiences, and identities.  She is currently the head researcher of the LEARNER project (https://learnerproject.org/).
