Yuval Noah Harari holds a PhD from Oxford University, where he specialized in world history and medieval history, and currently focuses his research on macro-historical questions, such as the relationship between humanity and technology or the role of religions and ideologies. He is now considered one of today's most influential intellectuals.

His works, translated into more than sixty-five languages and characterized by their ability to disseminate, bring together central questions of historical and philosophical thought. His most outstanding work is Sapiens: A Brief History of Humankind  (Ediciones 62/Debate), published in 2014 and a worldwide bestseller, which made him an international reference thinker. Since then, he has published other works, such as Homo Deus. Una breve historia del mañana (2017, Ediciones 62/Debate) and 21 lecciones para el siglo XXI (2018, Ediciones 62/Debate), where he reflects on the challenges that will mark the future of our species; or Imparables (2022, Estrella Polar/Montena), his first work for young people, a story about the creative and transformative power of human beings illustrated by the Barcelona-born Ricard Zaplana Ruiz.

He has also published numerous articles in media such as The Guardian, The Economist and The New York Times and is the founder of the cultural and educational organization Sapienship.
